Richard Saperstein on Hightower’s Strength, Growth and Evolution Over the Years

From its start during the 2008 financial crisis, to its evolution into an RIA growth enabler with the strength to continue growing through our current crisis, Richard Saperstein of Hightower’s Treasury Partners has seen the firm through nearly every phase of its existence.

“I’ve watched the firm move through its iterations to what I would consider to be a remarkable place right now. Over the years, the firm has been able to invest capital and build out infrastructure much needed by advisors,” he said at the 2019 Hightower Advisor Summit. Watch the video.

Saperstein, who is #6 on Barron’s 2020 “Top 100 Financial Advisors” List and #16 on Forbes’ 2020 List of Top Wealth Advisors, joined HighTower with his team in 2009. Today, he views Hightower as being more sophisticated than it’s ever been, with the ability to grow exponentially.

“Treasury Partners has solidified our commitment to the firm, and we’re very happy about doing so. One of our business plan objectives is to tuck in advisors,” said Saperstein. “We’ve been doing this since 2012. Most recently, we brought in a very experienced veteran from the field who’s a great addition to our practice.”

According to Saperstein, it’s a good time to be an RIA.

“As independent financial advisors, we all have opportunities and alternatives,” he said. “When you scan the landscape and look at Hightower’s capabilities and the freedom the firm gives you to run your business, think independently and use its infrastructure, Hightower is the natural choice.”
