Jennifer Frazier Employee Spotlight – Women’s History Month

By Hightower Advisors / March 24, 2026

Meet Jennifer Frazier, our latest feature in our Women’s History Month spotlight series.

Jennifer is a Partner with Hightower Signature Wealth with more than 24 years of wealth management experience. Jennifer helped pioneer the firm’s women and wealth platform, an initiative aimed at providing women with the support and resources they need to make informed financial decisions.

Q: Why is it important to support the financial education of women?
A: We are facing a major wealth transfer over the next two decades that will lead to many women managing their finances on their own for the first time. Women have a longer life expectancy, career interruptions, pay disparities, and caregiving responsibilities that all compound over time. They carry the weight of the world and their families on their shoulders, and they do it with a smile. When women are not equipped with strong financial literacy, these gaps widen even more. When they are equipped and educated, the trajectory changes dramatically for them and the next generation.

I truly love working with women. They are intelligent, bold and caring! Each and every one of them has their own personal money story, and it’s important that they partner with someone who understands what financial freedom means for them specifically.

Q: What inspired you to focus your career on financial planning for women?
A: Since I was a child, I always had a heart for people and thought I was going to be a sports agent to help young athletes protect their reputations, money, and families. That dream shifted when I lost my biological mom suddenly at the age of 19. As an only child, I was left with having to navigate an extremely emotional time while dealing with the lack of financial and estate planning that had been dumped in my lap. I learned so much going through that process and felt a tug to move into a field that helped women and families be proactive with every aspect of their finances so they wouldn’t go through what I did.

Most of the women that I work with are going through some sort of life transition with retirement, inheritance, loss of a spouse, or divorce. There is not a more rewarding profession than this one that allows us to patiently walk alongside clients and help shape their current state and their future.

Q: What do you wish more women knew about financial planning?
A: There is no right or wrong financial plan. Each one is crafted differently to meet the ever-changing needs of the women we work with and their family’s needs. Many women already manage the day-to-day finances and make smart, values-driven financial decisions. I’d argue that financial planning is the foundation of every great financial decision we make. I wish more women focused on this early in their lives because they consistently change the trajectory of wealth, confidence, and independence. Financial independence is not optional. It’s protection for you and your loved ones.
