Forbes 2026 50 Over 50 Selection Criteria:

Forbes, in partnership with Know Your Value, recognizes women who are at least 50 years old, actively engaged in their work, and making significant professional impact after age 50. Candidates are evaluated by Forbes editors and judges based on career acceleration or reinvention, leadership, and the measurable size, scale and scope of their impact. For the 2026 U.S. class, candidates were required to reside or work primarily in the United States and could not be previous 50 Over 50 honorees. Founders and CEOs of for-profit businesses were generally required to lead a business with at least $4 million in annual revenue and one full year of operations. Nomination did not guarantee selection.
