Marc Anazagasty Spotlight – National Hispanic Heritage Month

As National Hispanic Heritage Month wraps up, we’re proud to close out our employee spotlight series with Marc Anazagasty.

As Director of Operations at Capital Management Group, Marc helps drive the processes, technology, and financial operations that support both advisors and clients. Guided by the values instilled by his family, he approaches every challenge with perseverance, a strong work ethic, and a deep respect for others.

Q: Tell us about your role at Hightower and the experiences that shaped your path to where you are today.

As Director of Operations, I help oversee the processes, technology, and financial operations that support our advisors and clients. My career has been shaped by taking on new challenges, learning different aspects of the business, and focusing on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Q: What does National Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you personally?

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate my heritage, honor the values and sacrifices of previous generations, and recognize the many contributions Hispanic and Latino communities make to our country and workplaces.

Q: What achievement or project that you’ve completed in your career are you most proud of and why?

I am most proud of helping implement operational and technology improvements that have made our practice more efficient and scalable. Seeing those changes positively impact employees, advisors, and clients has been especially rewarding.

Q: What is a lesson from your family, culture, or community that continues to guide you today?

My family taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and treating people with respect. Those values continue to guide how I lead, make decisions, and work with others.

Q: What advice would you give to Hispanic students or young professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in financial services?

Stay curious, seek out mentors, and be willing to learn. Financial services offers many different career paths, and your unique experiences and perspective can be a real strength in the industry.

Q: How are you celebrating or recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month this year?

I’m taking time to reflect on my heritage, learn more about Hispanic leaders and their contributions, and celebrate the positive impact Hispanic and Latino communities continue to have on our society and workplace.
